Terms of Service

These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of Velgrow, a customer feedback and review-growth platform operated by The Desi Deli Ltd ("Velgrow", "we", "us"). By creating an account, scanning a Velgrow QR code, or otherwise using the service, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the service.
1. Who this applies to
Velgrow has three types of users: customers (people who scan a QR code and leave feedback), vendors (businesses using Velgrow to collect and manage reviews), and administrators (Velgrow staff managing the platform). These Terms apply to all three, with role-specific sections noted below.
2. What Velgrow does
Velgrow lets a customer scan a QR code at a participating business, optionally describe their experience in a few words, and receive AI-generated review suggestions based on that input. The customer chooses whether to post a suggestion to Google, in their own words, on their own Google account. Velgrow does not post reviews on a customer's behalf, and does not guarantee that any suggested text will be used verbatim.
3. Review authenticity
Customers must only submit feedback reflecting a genuine visit and honest opinion. Velgrow does not permit, and vendors must not solicit, fake, incentivized-for-positivity-only, or misleading reviews. GrowPoints are a reward for the act of providing feedback, not for providing positive feedback — a critical, honest review is just as eligible for GrowPoints as a glowing one, subject to vendor approval described below.
4. GrowPoints and rewards
GrowPoints are a loyalty currency earned by customers for submitting feedback through Velgrow. Points have no cash value, cannot be exchanged for money, and are redeemable only for rewards a participating vendor chooses to offer. A submitted review is initially recorded as "pending" and only counts toward a customer's balance once approved by the relevant vendor. Velgrow and vendors reserve the right to adjust, pause, or discontinue GrowPoints programs at any time, and to withhold points where fraud or abuse is suspected.
5. Vendor accounts and responsibilities
Vendors are responsible for reviewing feedback submitted to their business promptly and honestly, and for keeping their login credentials confidential. Vendor accounts are tied to a single business and may not be shared, sold, or transferred without Velgrow's consent. Approving a review that a vendor knows to be fake or coerced is a breach of these Terms.
6. Acceptable use
You agree not to misuse the service — including attempting to bypass rate limits, scrape data, impersonate another person or business, submit malicious code, or interfere with the platform's normal operation. Velgrow may suspend or terminate any account that violates this section.
7. Intellectual property
The Velgrow name, logo, and platform design are the property of The Desi Deli Ltd. Review text generated with Velgrow's assistance belongs to the customer who posts it; Velgrow does not claim ownership of user-submitted feedback.
8. Disclaimers and limitation of liability
Velgrow is provided "as is." We do not guarantee that AI-generated suggestions will be accurate, error-free, or reflect any particular sentiment, and we are not responsible for how a customer chooses to use a suggestion. To the fullest extent permitted by law, Velgrow's liability for any claim arising from use of the service is limited to the amount paid by the vendor for the service in the twelve months preceding the claim, or £100, whichever is greater.
9. Termination
You may stop using Velgrow at any time. We may suspend or terminate accounts that breach these Terms, with notice where reasonably possible.
10. Changes to these Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. Material changes will be reflected by updating the date at the top of this page. Continued use of Velgrow after a change constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.
11. Governing law
These Terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales. Any disputes will be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales.
